Recently, the Discovery Channel’s new show “Doomsday Bunkers” featured my good buddy Shea Degan and his training facility. I do all of Shea’s design including logos, vehicle wraps, websites, tactical patches and more. A side benefit…my design work was shown in several spots throughout the 1 hour program on Discovery! Here’s a screenshot (cool eh?):

Launching of 1,000 ships…ok, how about 10 YMCA websites?!

Today, we finally saw the efforts of the past 6 months come to fruition as we launched 10 websites simultaneously yesterday for the Omaha Metro YMCA Association. The great folks down at the “Y” were a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t be more excited!

We decided to build the sites on the Word Press Content Management Platform so that each of the locations would benefit from the strong (and uber-easy) user interface for adding and editing content to the site. Among the notable features are multiple slideshows on the location “home” pages as well as a really cool “did you know” feature where each location can highlight fun facts from within their own communities.
